Watch Watford’s Roberto Pereyra Part The Seas Like Moses For Epic Solo Goal

If you’re familiar with Western mythology, you’ve probably heard of the story of Moses parting the seas while escaping Egypt. This Roberto Pereyra goal vs Huddersfield Town on Saturday had a similar feel, with the defense of the Terriers refusing to step into the path of the Watford winger to score the opening goal of a 3-0 rout.

Watch as Pereyra weaves his way through the entirety of the Huddersfield defense, which falls over itself trying to get out of his way — typically the opposite approach defenders should take, but who are we to judge.

The Roberto Pereyra goal vs Huddersfield gave the Argentine five goals on the Premier League season, tied for sixth best in the league (equal with the likes of Harry Kane, Mo Salah and Aleksandr Mitrovic) after his impressive start to the season.

Watford’s second goal was pretty sweet too, Gerard Deulofeu torching two defenders before lashing a shot into the roof of the net.

Isaac Success found goal scoring success in the 80th minute to put the match away for the Hornets, who are in seventh place with six wins from 10 matches, five full points ahead of the chumps at Manchester United.
