We Could Watch This Andres Iniesta Assist To Lukas Podolski All Day — You Should Too

Teammates in Japan for Vissel Kobe, Andres Iniesta and Lukas Podolski are a joy to watch.

Andres Iniesta is one of the greatest midfielders of his generation. Lukas Podolski is one of the finest strikers of the ball of his generation. Together at Vissel Kobe in Japan, they’re absolute magic to watch, even if they’re both in the twilight of their careers.

Podolski, a former Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Germany striker, assisted Iniesta, the Spanish World Cup winner and Barcelona legend, on his first goal when he joined Vissel Kobe in August.

Iniesta returned the favor with a delightful pass for this Podolski goal vs Nagoya on Saturday. (Nagoya Grampus is the club once coached by Arsene Wenger, who coached Podolski at Arsenal.)

The pass was serene and the finish clinical. The mind of Iniesta and the left foot of Podolski haven’t aged a day.

The goal was Podolski’s first of two on Saturday as Vissel Kobe won 2-1. Check out the full highlights here. Podolski's second goal was vintage Podolski.

Somehow, Vissel Kobe is only 11th in the league standings despite the presense of these two legends of the game. The club should really just get the ball to Podolski and Iniesta at every possible opportunity.
