You Can Finally Watch Chucky Score For PSV Legally In The U.S.

Hirving "Chucky" Lozano has been tearing up the Eredivisie all season. The Mexican international is the league’s leading scorer and has helped PSV Eindhoven maintain its spot at the top of the league table. But this season there has been no legal Eredivisie U.S. streaming service — until now.

The website OZ Sports is now offering select Dutch league matches on its streaming service for subscribers in the U.S. A subscription costs $4.99 per month for just the Eredivisie or $9.99 for all the leagues OZ Sports offers, though the A-League is the only other soccer league of note for U.S. audiences, if you can consider Australian football noteworthy. OZ also says it will broadcast some international matches, with France vs. the Netherlands in September one of the notable offerings.

Unfortunately, this will not include every Eredivisie match to be streamed, only a selection. However, if this weekend’s offerings are any indication, OZ will be showing the matches you’ll want to be watching anyway.

On Saturday, OZ will show AZ Alkmaar vs. Sparta Rotterdam while Sunday’s matches feature Ajax against ADO Den Haag and the biggest match of the weekend, league-leading PSV vs. fourth-place Feyenoord in a matchup of the league’s top two goal scorers. Steven Berghuis leads Feyenoord with 12 goals, one back of Chucky, the 22-year-old El Tri star. However, Lozano will be suspended for a recent red card

Chucky will be a big draw for this service as there are a large number of El Tri fans in the U.S., as noted by the recent creation of an English-language Twitter account for the Mexican national team. There are also American players you can now watch thanks to the Eredivisie U.S. streaming, including Vitesse center back Matt Miazga (on loan from Chelsea), Excelsior’s Shane O’Neill and Desevio Payne and Roda JC Kerkrade’s Ashton Gotz.

Having not tested out the service we can’t say as to whether or not it’s worth the money, but there is a 30-day free trial available. Hey, it’s better than nothing.
