Neymar Challenge Hits Wimbledon Because Everyone Wants To Hate On Him

Neymar has been out of the World Cup for a while now, Brazil having lost to Belgium in the quarterfinals. But that doesn’t mean he’s done being mocked. This Neymar Wimbledon video is proof.

Neymar earned a reputation as a diver, flopper, embellisher and general bad sport during the 2018 World Cup. To be fair, teams targeted him with constant fouls and physical play. But the PSG forward didn’t do himself any favors with his rolling around time after time.

It started with a flop in the box against Costa Rica, which VAR overturned as not a penalty kick. He then rolled all the way to Siberia in during a match against Serbia. And he made one more dive in the loss to Belgium just because he’s gotta play all the hits.

Neymar Wimbledon

Neymar’s antics made him the target of countless memes and the Neymar Challenge has picked up steam across the world. What’s the Neymar Challenge? We’re not quite sure, but it involves a lot of rolling.

But the Neymar mockery is not contained within the soccer world. At Wimbledon, a tennis tournament in England attended exclusively by rich people, Jonas Björkman took a shot at the Brazilian star, as the following Neymar Wimbledon clip shows.

Björkman was playing with Todd Woodbridge against Mansour Bahrami and Goran Ivanisevic in a legends match when Woodbridge hit his playing partner in the back of the head. After looking to see if the referee was going to show a red card, Björkman rolled around on the grass in an impressive reenactment of Neymar’s performances in Russia.

Neymar is going to need to score a lot of goals before people start forgetting about his flopping, even at Wimbledon.
