FIFA Nominated Some Incredible Goals For Its Annual Puskas Award

Because we all know FIFA is the most democratic and fair institutions in the world, soccer’s governing body lets you, the fans, vote every year for the most aesthetically pleasing goal scored each season. FIFA released its 2016-17 FIFA Puskás Award nominees chosen by a panel of "experts" on Friday and it’s time to vote.

Unfortunately, because FIFA doesn't believe in fair play, you have to go to YouTube to watch the nominees instead of just viewing them on our wonderful website. So check them out here.

Fans can go to FIFA.com to view each goal individually and select which one they think is the best. It won’t be easy to choose.

You’ve got Kevin Prince-Boateng’s volley following a clever back-heel flick by Tana into the box, Olivier Giroud’s absurd scorpion kick, Aviles Hurtado’s impressive bicycle kick for Tijuana, Nemanja Matic's thunderous strike for Chelsea and Mario Mandzukic’s audacious overhead volley in the Champions League final. The lone nominee from the women’s game is Venezuela U-17 player Deyna Castellanos, who scored from the midfield circle moments after Cameroon had scored a stoppage-time equalizer at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

All those will do well to beat the entry from Oscarine Masuluke. His bicycle kick, stoppage-time equalizer would be reason enough to earn a spot on the Puskas Award nominees but the fact that he’s a goalkeeper just takes it to another level. Extra points for that wacky celebration.

But, the choice is yours. Just don’t make the wrong choice.

And in case you were wondering, last year's Puskás Award went to Mohd Faiz Subri from the Malaysian Super League for this unbelievable swerving free kick
