NCAA Soccer Takes Over SportsCenter Top 10 With Two Stunning Goals

After a 2020 season that was hugely disrupted by COVID-19, resulting in both the men’s and women’s College Cup finals being played back on May 17, the 2021 NCAA Division I soccer season marks a return to normalcy as we’re now almost two weeks into the fall campaign.

It’s early doors but we’ve already seen some spectacular play around the country, so much so that SportsCenter’s Top 10 has already featured a couple stunning goals.

On Thursday, No. 1 ranked Florida State beat rival Florida 5-2 with Beata Olsson — a freshman from Enkoping, Sweden — hitting an acrobatic overhead kick that landed at No. 4 in the SportsCenter Top 10.

On Friday, the Tulsa men’s program defeated Missouri State 3-0 with sophomore Malik Henry-Scott — a product of the FC Dallas Academy — dribbling past five defenders and the goalkeeper before finishing.

It earned SportsCenter’s No. 1 spot.

Finally, check out this hat-trick from Virginia Tech senior Emily Gray in her team’s 3-2 win over James Madison on Thursday. The second — a free kick from 30 yards out — is the calling card of a stone-cold killer.
