FIFA released their first rankings following the World Cup this week. Following the campaign in Brazil, Germany obviously moved atop the rankings for the first time since 1994. The new World Champions had been in the top three since 2011 before winning the championship a week ago. The top five is rounded out by Los Cafeteros at number four, with Belgium matching their highest ranking of all time at number five.

The United States dropped two slots to number 15 despite their performance and getting out of the group of death in Brazil.
