Luis Suarez Just Hit A Scorching Free Kick To Completely Bamboozle Memo Ochoa

Luis Suarez had a decent World Cup with two goals over the summer. Guillermo Ochoa, however, was probably the highest-performing goalkeeper in Russia. But on the scorching Luis Suarez free kick vs Mexico, Memo Ochoa was left with no chance on Friday night in Houston.

Uruguay and Mexico traded goals in the opening 30 minutes, José Giménez and Raúl Jiménez scoring for La Celeste and El Tri, respectively. But Uruguay took the lead for good through two goals from Suarez before halftime.

The Luis Suarez free kick vs Mexico arrived in the 32nd minute, and this wasn’t your average, everyday curler. The Barcelona forward smashed his shot around the side of the wall and into the near post corner.

Not much Ochoa could've done there.

Suarez made Ochoa's night even worse soon after, going with a Panenka on a penalty kick to make it 3-1.

Uruguay opened the scoring with, what else, a set-piece goal, José Giménez heading home in the 21st minute.

But Mexico responded almost immediately when Chucky Lozano was taken down in the box. Raúl Jiménez made no mistake with the ensuing penalty kick in the 25th minute.
