Borussia Dortmund Releases SpongeBob SquarePants Fashion Collaboration

Borussia Dortmund and SpongeBob SquarePants have collaborated on a lifestyle capsule that includes two hoodies and two T-shirts. Why? 

But my guess is because both are yellow, Gio Reyna is SpongeBob, Erling Haaland is Patrick, Marco Reus is “MY LEG!” and Robert Lewandowski is Gary.

But here’s what a Dortmund representative had to say: “The yellow hero from Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob SquarePants, officially becomes the new face of the latest fan collection. With it, television broadcaster Nickelodeon and the football club herald a longer-term cooperation with more joint activities.”

Now I herald the merch. The hoodies cost roughly $50, the T-shirts $28. The black hoodie is honestly fantastic.
