Messi getting challenged to a boxing match… this is 2025, folks.
Social media personality, WWE superstar, entrepreneur and boxer, Logan Paul, has challenged Lionel Messi to boxing match. Yes, you read correctly.
Logan Paul challenges Messi to a boxing match: Social media star responds to legal dispute between Prime and Mas+
Logan Paul, co-owner of hydration drink, Prime, challenged Messi, owner of hydration drink, Mas+, to the boxing ring as a way to resolve their brands' controversial legal dispute.
Mas+, launched in June 2024, filed a lawsuit in October 2024, claiming that Prime’s design was too similar to their own and could confuse consumers. In a TikTok video, Paul responded to the news with his trademark bravado, rejecting the accusations and defending Prime’s branding.
A month later, Paul and Prime’s legal team hit back with a countersuit, accusing Mas+ of copying their designs and engaging in unfair business practices.
The case remains ongoing, with evidence still under review, but Paul is not backing down. And has now taken matter into hands… sort of.
In a video, Paul took the opportunity to jokingly ‘challenge’ Messi directly, proposing to end the legal battles through a boxing match in 2025.

"Brother, you copied us. Everyone has seen it,” Paul in a video uploaded to TikTok. “We got a lawsuit, wait a minute… this is unfair! Obviously, we did a countersuit. If you can't beat the best, you have to be the best, but that's illegal, that's our design.”
"Joking aside, I swear I would consider backing out of the lawsuit, only if... Logan Paul vs Messi. See you in the ring, brother," he said.
Prime is now one of the leading-sponsors in the world of soccer, with stars such as Erling Haaland and Rafael Leão, as well as top European clubs such as FC Barcelona, Juventus, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, being sponsored by the American brand.
