Watch: Ajax sub hilariously gets instant karma after refusing to give ball back to ball boy

A ball boy for Dutch club Groningen went viral on Wednesday for a humorous bit of antics with an Ajax sub during the 2-2 draw between the sides.

To provide some context, Ajax led 2-1 with just a few minutes left in the game. Ajax desperately needed the victory to maintain their lead against PSV in the Dutch table. A draw would be catastrophic.

One Ajax substitute’s time-wasting efforts went as far as holding on to one of the spare balls sitting around the field and refusing to return it to a ball boy. In a video the ball boy can be seen repeatedly asking for it back.
