In Antoine Griezmann, Alex Lacazette, Anthony Martial, Olivier Giroud, Dimitri Payet, Ousmane Dembele, Nabil Fekir, Kylian Mbappe, Kevin Gameiro and the ostracized Karim Benzema, France possess 10 forwards that, if hypothetically American, would waltz into the discussion of the greatest U.S. attacker of all-time.

The latest images of Mexico’s Adidas away jersey for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia have surfaced, and it looks as though El Tri will be fittingly representing their nickname when wearing their away strips.  

The design features a bold horizontal chest stripe showcasing the flag of Mexico tricolors of green, white and red, as well as green Adidas stripes on the shoulders. The back of the shirt collar, like the home design, features a “soy méxico” message.

The 90’s are back. Geometrical patterns are hot right now and we couldn’t be more excited about some of the World Cup jerseys. While Nike opted for cleaner, standardized and simplistic designs, Adidas went the extra mile and took a risk in bringing back the 90’s. Here are our favorites so far:

Germany

Die Mannschaft’s jersey is clearly reminiscent of the 1990 home kit. This time, however, it is a strictly black and white format instead of the tricolor (black, red and yellow). The jersey is both edgy and nostalgic. What else could you ask for?

Dating back to 1997, Cameroon and German sportswear giants Puma have enjoyed an extremely positive relationship whilst also pushing the FIFA laws of the game. Cameroon’s success over this 20-year period — they’ve won the African Cup of Nations three times, qualified for four World Cups and finished runners-up at the 2003 Confederations Cup — has only served to strengthen the bond between the international side and the company outfitting them with an always robust look.

In a world where gambling sites and oil companies litter football kits as jersey sponsors, one German club is going for another vice. SV Oberwürzbach, an amateur soccer team in Germany, has a new shirt sponsor that doesn’t like to wear shirts. Or any clothes at all. The team aligned with adult film star Lena Nitro to be featured on the front of the club uniform. 

The club made the announcement on Facebook by saying, “Welcome to the club of sin!” A couple days later, SV Oberwürzbach won 7-2. Coincidence?

Adidas has done it again. After releasing the X and the Nemeziz, adidas fired more shots at Nike without even needing to reload. The latest cleats from adidas are true beauties and have newly developed technology that the older F50 Tunit boots first pioneered.

Adidas is rolling out their latest line of cleats before the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final in Cardiff, so expect to see a lot of commercials detailing the new Nemeziz,

Images of Barcelona’s leaked 2017-18 home kit first began appearing in December of 2016. The jerseys, which will feature their new sponsor Rakuten for the first time, originally looked like all hell — like a printer trying to align its ink cartridges and failing.
