Getting in your last minute touches can be important for a pre-match warm-up, but kicking the ball into a sea of fans isn’t the best way to exit. From what was supposed to be a playful pass into the crowd by Brazil’s number 10, came an embarrassing knock in the face.

Neymar accidentally kicked the ball he was juggling at a young boy as he watched the Brazilian team board their bus before a Copa America match against Peru. After realizing that the boy was hurt from the incident, he was escorted onto the team bus to receive a souvenir he will cherish forever. 

Let your imagination run wild on this little question: you are a multimillion dollar, 22-year-old footballer from a country absolutely obsessed with the sport, part of the best attacking line in the world, and have a combined 39.1 million fans on social media, what is the craziest thing you have ever received from a fan?

Back in October, we wrote about Rhiannon Conelley, the Texas teen that turned down $10,000 in order to meet her favorite player: Neymar Jr. Apparently turning down all of that money didn’t exactly expedite the process, because she just uploaded a video of the meeting to her YouTube account on April 30.

We are sure the anticipation was killing her. 

Well it looks like Luis Suarez and Neymar are getting along just fine. Like brothers, we would say. After all, don’t brothers punch and kick and scream at each other all the time? And hey, here’s Neymar doing one of those three things to Suarez. So that makes them, like, third-brothers,  so they surely qualify as friends, who most definitely get along. 

Neymar is a man of the people. That’s why he has 15,000,000 followers on Instagram, right?

He loves the attention, and the love from fans, and the fame - and he’s about as comfortable being in the public eye as a baby in a bubble bath. The thing about opening yourself up to the world like that is, well, not everyone is going to love you. A lot of people will straight up dislike you. Case in point: Manchester City fans after you beat their team. 

This week, Neymar came out and said what every Barca fan is thinking: Messi is the greatest footballer currently playing the game, better even than La Liga scoring leader and Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.

It's only a week since Barcelona's 5-0 routing of La Liga rivals Levante, in which teammates Neymar and Messi stole the show with a combined 4 goals (with Suarez coming off the bench to finish the job).
