Watch Takashi Inui Become The First Footballer In Space

A joint effort between the Japanese and Spanish has seen the first footballer successfully launched into space. Takashi Inui, a Japanese international and midfielder for Eibar, rocketed to infinity and beyond with the help of Spanish goalkeeper Iago Herrerin.

According to our planisphere star chart, Inui is currently near Mars’s moon Phobos, taking pictures of the Martian planet’s polar ice caps. He will hopefully return to Earth in time for Eibar’s next match against against Sporting in the Spanish Cup.

Amputee footballer Tommy McKay, a diehard supporter of Scottish football club Dundee United, won the Scottish Premiership’s Goal of the Month for November with this wonderful chip at halftime during Dundee’s match against Dunfermline.

Spanish Third Division Side’s Reaction To Drawing Real Madrid In The Copa Del Rey Is Everything

Having pulled off one of the bigger upsets in the 2016 Copa del Rey Third Round by defeating second division side Albacete 2-1, Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa have now drawn Spanish giants Real Madrid in the round of 32.

Cultural Leonesa plays in the Segunda Division B, the third tier of Spanish football. Based in Leon in the north of Spain, the club has only experienced life in La Liga on one occasion since the club's inception in 1929, that being the 1955-56 season.

18-Year-Old Goalkeeper Scores On His International Debut

Kai McKenzie Lyle is an 18-year-old goalie who plays for Barnet in England's League 2. He made his international debut Saturday for Guyana against Suriname. He scored.

Although Guyana lost that match 3-2 and their other match of the international break 4-2 to Jamaica, knocking them out of the Carribbean Cup, what a moment!
