When a professional footballer is asked to describe their worst nightmare, the response of "having my own fans chant 'asshole' at me" would probably be considered a totally irrational fear. But that's exactly what happened to New York Red Bulls midfielder Dru Yearwood on Saturday night at Red Bull Arena while getting sent off in his team's 2-0 defeat to Philadelphia. 

Toronto FC and LA Galaxy got into a heated game Wednesday night in which the boiling point was a rough but also hilarious dust-up between veterans Michael Bradley and Javier "Chicharito" Hernández.

The whole ruckus started after Chicharito fouled the U.S. international. Bradley wasn't pleased with the action and complained in front of Hernandez's face. Canadian Richie Laryea, passing by, tried to stop the confrontation by pulling away Chicharito, but the Mexican acted up as if someone was dismembering him. 

Gonzalo Higuaín is making a habit of scoring worldies for Inter Miami. Almost a month ago, the Argentine scored a ridiculous free kick from just outside of the box against Cincinnati. Tonight, he hit copy and paste against the New York Red Bulls.

It's almost been four months since Seattle made history by defeating Pumas to become the first MLS team to win the Concacaf Champions League, and although we've still got some time before we start the 2023 competition, we can start making predictions with the Liga MX field already filled and the MLS representatives now (somewhat) predictable.

Lorenzo Insigne scored the go-ahead goal in the 79th minute and host Toronto FC ended the Portland Timbers' unbeaten run with a 3-1 win on Saturday.

Toronto (8-12-5, 29 points) improved to 3-0-1 in its past four games. Portland (7-7-12, 33 points) had been on a 4-0-6 run since its last defeat back on May 28, against Inter Miami.
