On Tuesday, June 28, the U.S. women’s national team hosted Colombia in a friendly at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. It might be the last time the USWNT plays a match in a state like Utah.

The United States men’s national team only has two more games to gear up for the 2022 World Cup. Those final two opponents for USMNT friendlies were revealed on Tuesday. The U.S. will be playing Japan and Saudi Arabia, two teams also competing at the 2022 World Cup.

It is one of the sweetest victories in USMNT history and one of the most painful for El Tri. Today, June 17, the most celebrated Dos a Cero victory of the United States over Mexico turns 20 years old.

Haji Wright was only given 119 minutes for the USMNT across four games this June and it appears he won’t get anymore anytime soon. Wright featured in the first half of Tuesday’s mud-fest against El Salvador and after the game USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter said he wasn’t pleased with what he saw.
