With Neymar potentially out for the rest of the season, Lucas Moura gone to Tottenham Hotspur, Kylian Mbappe nursing a right ankle injury and Edinson Cavani and Javier Pastore being rested in preparation for Real Madrid in the Champions League next week, it looks like 18-year-old American youth international Timothy Weah will make his PSG debut on Saturday against Troyes.
Weah, the son of 1995 Ballon d'Or winner George Weah, is not even listed as being on the first team on PSG's website.
PSG generally plays a 4-3-3 and only named three forwards in the matchday 18, so it stands to reason that Weah will be making his PSG debut Saturday, 23 years after his father (the current president of Liberia) last played for the club.
Weah is eligible for France, Liberia and the United States, but has elected to play in the USA youth setup so far. He has six goals in 14 appearances for the USA U-17s, but if he impresses in his PSG debut, Weah could be making his senior international debut sooner rather than later.
