Lionel Messi's Life To Be Told Through Most Appropriate Form: Cirque Du Soleil

FC Barcelona’s No. 10 continues to prove his dominance in the world. His incredible career sparked interest for an unusual group of people. Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, Sony Music and Argentina’s PopArt Music are teaming up to premiere “Messi 10 by Cirque du Soleil” in Barcelona on October 10, 2019.

The Messi Cirque du Soleil show is going to tell the story of a young, ambitious man who strives to be the best No. 10 in the world. The performers will trade in a ball, cleats and some freshly cut grass for people soaring through the air while flipping and portraying what Messi does best: leaving the audience speechless.

For those of you that are not familiar with Cirque du Soleil, it is primarily an acrobatic, gymnastics, circus-like, artistic performance that tells a story through ridiculous tricks and techniques. The incorporation of soccer within Cirque du Soleil should be quite the task for the creators as they use athleticism, determination and inventiveness to blend the football world and the circus by celebrating the one and only, Lionel Messi.

Messi expressed his excitement for this obscure way of portraying the hard work and success he has achieved throughout his career to label himself the greatest of all time.

Lionel Messi is a magician with the ball and can do things that many other players are not capable of, so the use of acrobatic techniques and an amazing performance would just almost do his life story justice. So no pressure to the choreographers.
