This Compassionate Act On-Stage Proves That Ronaldo Is A Good Person

First of all, we have no idea what facial fitness is. We have no idea why someone would need it, but we aren’t surprised that it came from the land of the brilliantly obscure that is Japan. Is there a Japanese facial obesity epidemic going on now that the media has chosen to blackout in the Western hemisphere? Is facial weight gain the new smoking? Again, we have no idea, but Cristiano Ronaldo made an appearance on stage at a promotional event for Pao Facial Fitness and answered a few questions from a young Japanese lad, so what ever facial fitness may be, it sure is doing well for itself if it can afford to bring in the most sought after face in soccer.

About those questions. How did this little lad communicate with his presumed idol? Not in Japanese, that’s for sure. No, the kid — whose name we do not know — came on stage with a sheet of paper and introduced himself in Portuguese. Which all sounds well and good, until you realize that speaking Japanese is nothing at all like speaking Portuguese, and that the large crowd that the kid was talking in front of laughed at the boy’s struggles.

Luckily for the kid, Ronaldo had his back.

First, he makes one kid’s day after he accidentally hit him with a practice shot, and now he is coming to the rescue of a fan on stage. This Ronaldo guy seems to actually be pretty nice considering how often he is painted as an arrogant, uber-talented, obnoxiously rich, shockingly good-looking prick.
