Chipotle Is Giving Away Free Food To Youth Soccer Players

Colorado-based fast-food juggernaut Chipotle has been making a name for itself over the past couple of years. Despite the recent E. Coli scare last year, the mexican food chain is still going strong and has been one of America’s most beloved places to snag a quick burrito. It puts out some fire tweets every once in awhile, as well.

But now Chipotle, as if you needed another reason to love the place, is giving away free food to America’s future soccer stars. The company released a statement on its website that it will be slinging out a special deal for any youth soccer player who comes and eats in their local restaurant April 16 while wearing their jersey.

“In an effort to support soccer’s next generation, we’re inviting all youth soccer players to wear their team uniform to any Chipotle on Saturday, April 16th for a BUY-ONE/GET-ONE BURRITOS, BOWLS, SALADS, ORDER OF TACOS, OR KID’S MEAL,” the statement said.

“Eligible players must be 14 or younger. Player must be in soccer team uniform to redeem offer. Definition of “uniform” is at restaurant staff’s discretion. Limit one free entrée item per player; free item requires purchase of an entrée item of equal or greater value. Valid only on Saturday, April 16th between open and close and while supplies last. Not valid for catering orders.”

If I was still a young buck playing the beautiful game, I would pester my parents to no end and try to take full advantage of this opportunity. I mean, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love free food? Especially Chipotle, because let us not forget.

The real question is, will they still charge extra for guac?
