As human beings with hearts, we here at The18 love it when famous footballers do cool things for young fans. One of the best ways to watch this play out is having a footballer surprise a youngster by showing up unexpectedly.
Mesut Özil was involved in just such a moment when he surprised young Kyan by popping up right behind him at Highbury Quadrant Primary School on Friday.
It was a lovely moment as Kyan’s reaction was just priceless. He was speechless seeing his idol standing behind him and it took him a moment to even get a word out of his mouth.
No, mate - you're not dreaming Moments like this are just wonderful #M1Ö #YaGunnersYa #AFCgivingtogether @AFC_Foundation pic.twitter.com/FigKZJzoQj

Again, it was just wonderful.
But we can’t stop laughing at the way Özil says “hello!” to Kyan. Watch it again, at the 0:40 mark in the video.
We can’t be the only ones who find it creepy, right? Just imagine waking up in the morning and seeing someone peering over at you saying “heLLO!” in the way Özil did to Kyan.
I’m shuddering just thinking about it.
Honestly, to me it feels a bit like the creepy factor of the new Sonic for an upcoming live-action movie.
