Brazil Confirm Absurd Squad Depth By Dropping Very Talented Supermarket Guy

It’s an exciting moment for the Brazilian national team. Since the appointment of manager Tite back in June of 2016, the Canarinho have won eight straight qualifiers by a combined scoreline of 24-2. Victories over the likes of Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina and Uruguay saw them become the first nation — outside of the hosts, Russia — to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

What’s more, they’ve managed to achieve this sensational run of form while looking devastatingly entertaining. Neymar, Gabriel Jesus, Roberto Firmino, Gabriel Barbosa, Rafinha, Lucas Moura, Oscar, Casemiro, Fabinho, Marquinhos, Philippe Coutinho, Alex Sandro and Douglas Costa are all aged 26 or under, which is almost laughable. This side is loaded with young talent that’s nicely complimented by a raft of excellent veterans.

Ultimately, Brazil would just like to use this tournament as a tonic for their last three World Cups and Copa Americas. In reality, this could be the start of another period of dominance for the five-time world champions.

This Brazilian side is just overflowing with ginga at the moment — that samba rhythm that beats out pedaladas, elasticos and lambretas. It’s coursing through the entire nation like in the days of old.

If you need proof of that statement, just check out this guy in a Brazilian supermarket.

If this dude is English, he’s the most artistic and expressive talent the country has ever produced. If he’s American, he’s on the cover of Sports Illustrated, Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe are screaming unfiltered hot takes about him and Donald Trump is using him as an example of how he’s made America great again.

If he’s Brazilian, he’s just another subpar player that’s probably on the verge of joining the Chinese Super League for $10-15 million per year.
