Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory vs. Valencia on Friday was so chaotic that a video of Jude Bellingham emptying and tossing a water bottle at the opposing goalkeeper went unnoticed until Saturday.

Friday’s madness saw a late comeback from Real Madrid and a Vinícius Jr. red card in the 79th minute following a VAR review. The sending off came after the Brazilian forward got into a skirmish with Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski.

Behold! The best, or actually worst, flops of 2024

The annual award for the best soccer player in the world is called the Ballon d’Or. The fan-favorite best flop of the year isn’t an official award; however the people refer to it as the “Fallon d’Floor.”

The 2024 calendar year saw some incredible flops from the biggest names. A litany of players careened their bodies toward the Earth in hopes to persuade a referee to bring a whistle to their lips.

Oscar ends 8-year stay in China, remember when he blasted the ball into his opponents?

Former Chelsea star and Brazil international Oscar will be departing China after playing with Shanghai Port for the past eight years. The 33-year-old announced his farewell on Tuesday and will reunite with his boyhood club in São Paulo.

We’ll be completely honest and say that we didn’t watch too many Chinese Super League games in the past decade. One moment we do remember fondly was Oscar giving absolutely no fucks and just lasering the ball into his opponents.

Cristiano Ronaldo slams ‘finished’ Ligue 1 and claims the Saudi Pro League is superior

A Cristiano Ronaldo Ligue 1 comment is making the rounds on social media after the Al Nassr star forward said the Saudi Pro League is superior to France’s top flight. He then doubled down and said that Ligue 1 only has PSG, and the rest of the league is “finished.”

The comments were made during the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, UAE, on Friday. Ronaldo, who was named Best Middle East Player 2024 at the award show, was asked about where the Saudi League ranks compared to a league like France’s Ligue 1.

CR7 didn’t hold back.

Phil Foden pulling down an opponent’s shorts perfectly reflects how Man City’s season is going

Manchester City failed to win again on Thursday with a 1-1 draw against Everton that saw Phil Foden pulling shorts down on opponents in another lackluster performance.

Thursday’s result means that Pep Guardiola’s side have won just one of their last THIRTEEN games across all competitions. It’s a poor run of form never seen from Pep’s City teams over the previous years.

One moment from Thursday’s draw that provided an accurate representation of City’s current situation was Foden clinging on to Armando Broja’s shorts for dear life.

Watch: Man City’s failed penalty kick practice perfectly sums up their current form

Manchester City are experiencing one of their worst runs of form in years with just a single win in their last nine games. Nothing seems to be going right, and footage of a Man City penalty practice reflects that perfectly.

During a livestream of City’s practice on Tuesday something unthinkable happened. Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Ilkay Gundogan and Erling Haaland all missed penalty kicks in training. The worst part? There wasn’t even a goalkeeper in goal.

Tottenham Hotspur coach Ange Postecoglou said on Friday that he was not hurting but determined to get things right after confronting angry fans as his inconsistent side slipped to a 1-0 loss at Bournemouth.

Spurs have won just one of their last six games across all competitions, with that victory coming against reigning Premier League champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in November.

Bracing for a tough test against second-placed Chelsea at home on Sunday, Spurs are 10th in the league standings with 20 points from 14 matches, having lost six of those games.

Stanford women’s soccer team survived a thrilling 1-1 (4-2) penalty shootout victory vs. Arkansas in the NCAA DI women’s soccer championship tournament on Sunday but had a bizarre moment at the end of the first half.

Stanford trailed in the first half of the Round of 16 matchup and thought they had scored an incredible equalizer in the stroke of halftime.

Junior forward Lumi Kostmayer took a beautiful shot from 25 yards out that beat the goalkeeper and nestled into the back of the net. There was only one problem: the clock had hit 0:00 milliseconds before the ball went in.
