Brisbane Roar plays its final A-League match of the season Thursday without any hope of qualifying for the Finals series, but it does present 25-year-old American Shea Connors with an opportunity to add one final flourish to a breakthrough season in Australia's top division.

The Roar were in action Monday against Newcastle Jets with Connors partnering Australian international Larissa Crummer in attack. It all began in 2019 when, in the inaugural WSL Manchester derby, Weir lashed a 25-yard rocket into the far corner to the delight of 31,213 at the Etihad.

USWNT Shows Off Amazing Team Chemistry With Hilariously Weird Game

One of the most important aspects of sports is impossible to quantify and nearly undefinable. Team chemistry is often underrated in professional sports, but there’s no doubt any team works better together when people like each other, whether it’s an office or one of the best soccer teams of all time.

To paraphrase the Supreme Court justice Potter Stewart when asked to define pornography, you know team chemistry when you see it. And we definitely see it with the U.S. women’s national team.

The allegations came from NWSL stars like Christen Press, one of the most recognizable players in league history.

Why Trinity Rodman, NWSL’s Highest-Paid Player, Was Left Off USWNT’s SheBelieves Cup Roster

The 2022 SheBelieves Cup will be the least challenging yet for the U.S. women’s national team. So Vlatko Andonovski is giving less-experienced players an opportunity to show what they can do. But the USWNT roster for the 2022 SheBelieves Cup left off two of the nation’s most promising young players.
