The United States women’s national team drew England 0-0 in front of a packed Wembley Stadium on Saturday during a friendly. The game saw a tactical chess match between the head coaches as well as a Lindsey Horan bicycle kick attempt.
USWNT fans were brutal online toward the star U.S. midfielder as she failed to make an impact on the game.
The 30-year-old captain looked sluggish in midfield, had several wayward passes that missed the mark, scored a goal while offside and of course, the bicycle kick attempt.
Horan seems determined the pull off a successful bicycle kick as she tried the move again on Saturday. Here’s how it went.

Unfortunately for Horan the USWNT faithful were irate with her 87 minutes against England despite the fact she was one of three nominations for women of the match.

For her sake we hope Horan doesn’t check social media after games.
While head coach Emma Hayes didn’t get the victory in her return to England, she’ll be proud of her side’s performance. The USWNT were without the “Triple Espresso” attack as Sophia Smith, Trinity Rodman and Mallory Swanson all missed the game due to injuries.
Next up for the USWNT will be a trip to Hague, Netherlands, to face the Dutch in another friendly on Tuesday.
