We're always on the hunt for the next big thing in football. Whether it's on the basis of some short clip highlighting an up-and-coming 13-year-old or two or three good league games, we're quick to declare a player the next big thing. However, these three individuals, all age 21 or younger, have been consistently performing for a while now. There skills are undoubted and they've got the quality to become the next great players in world football.
21-year-old Adrien Rabiot has already won 10 major honors with PSG. He appeared in 38 matches across all competitions for the club last year, notching six goals. He's represented France extensively at the youth level and a call up to the senior side should come shortly.
Kingsley Coman had already won eight trophies before his 20th birthday. His loan from Juventus to Bayern Munich has been a resounding success, and he's already collected 11 caps with France. He's widely regarded as one of the best young talents of his generation.
Of course Barcelona will have produced the top player on this list. Munir El Haddadi burst onto the scene by scoring a La Liga goal with Barca during the 2014-15 season. Now, age 20, El Haddadi has also added a Spain appearance to his name while scoring eight goals across all competitions for Barca last year.
He's got pace, composure, finishing ability and a fantastic footballing brain to go along with a strong work ethic. The sky's the limit for El Haddadi.
