MUST WATCH: El Tri’s Raúl Jiménez provides assist of the season against Manchester City

Fulham striker, Raúl Jiménez, provided one of the best assists of the season to open the scoring against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

In the 25th minute, a cross into the box to Jiménez that saw the Mexican receive the ball with his back turned on goal, resulted in one of the most aesthetic moments you’ll see this Premier League season.

The Fulham No. 7 took the ball on the half volley and provided an outrageous backheel assist to Andreas Pereira.

This incredible key pass adds on to the Mexican’s strong start to the season, with his assist against Manchester City being his fifth goal contribution (four goals and one assist) of the season after just six starts.

The picture-perfect goal would end up coming up short for the visitors, as Manchester City would complete a 3-2 comeback victory through a Mateo Kovavic brace. Jeremy Doku scored from distance.

Rodrigo Muniz sprinkled suspense onto the closing minutes of the game with a bullet strike inside the box, though with the added time not turning out enough for a late equalizer.

Manchester City continue second in the Premier League table with 17 points, only one behind leaders Liverpool.
