Watch: Raheem Sterling’s free kick vs. Leicester City somehow gets worse with every new angle

The Raheem Sterling free kick vs Leicester City from Chelsea’s 4-2 FA Cup quarterfinal victory went viral due to how awful it was. We’re not exaggerating when we say this could be the worst free kick of all time.

In the 75th minute with the game tied at 2-2, Sterling was presented with a free kick just outside of the Foxes’ box. A major opportunity for the Blues.

Getting the ball up and over the wall but still on target isn’t easy from that close, but Sterling was prepared. He confidently stepped up, smashed the ball and then probably knocked someone out in the 25th row.

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe says he nearly drove off the road after hearing FA Cup draw vs. Man City

Drawing defending champions Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals was the last thing Eddie Howe wanted to hear as the Newcastle United manager prepares to face last year's treble winners for a fourth time this season.

Newcastle, who last won the trophy in 1955, will visit City on March 16 for the knockout fixture.

"I was driving at the time and I almost swerved off the road! It wasn't the draw we wanted, that's for sure," Howe told reporters on Friday.

Watch: Thierry Henry’s mouth drops when he sees what Kate Abdo looked like in 2007

The CBS Champions League crew provided fans with another golden moment on Wednesday. A video of Thierry Henry reacting to Kate Abdo and her appearance in 2007 has gone viral on social media.

The relationship and chemistry between Henry, Abdo, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards makes for endless entertainment. During Wednesday’s coverage the crew did a throwback bit where they looked at where each member of the cast was back in 2007.

Henry’s jaw nearly hit the desk when a clip of Abdo from many years ago appeared on screen.

Watch: Philadelphia Union open 2024 campaign with the most Concacaf own goal ever

A Philadelphia Union own goal during their 3-2 Concacaf Champions Cup victory vs. Costa Rica’s Deportivo Saprissa marked the return of Concacaf club play in all its glory.

One reason often given for MLS teams’ poor performances in Concacaf competitions is that the teams are still in preseason mode in February and aren’t in full form.

That couldn’t have been more the case for Jakob Glesnes and Andre Blake as they combined — or failed to combine — for a hilarious blooper on Tuesday.

Preseason serves as a great window to get rid of the rust and make mistakes to learn from even for veteran players. Gotham FC and USWNT star Kelley O’Hara shared just that on Wednesday in a hilarious video of her getting tackled by a motionless defender.

During NWSL preseason with defending champions Gotham, O’Hara was completely cleaned out by a defender. The good news is that there won’t be any hard feelings due to the fact that one of the players involved in the incident lacks the ability to have feelings.
