Recently named the USMNT Young Male Player of the Year, Sergiño Dest has had quite an impressive 2019-20 season already. He's logged major minutes for Ajax in the Eredivisie and chose to represent the USMNT over the Netherlands (still trying to figure out why, to be honest). On Wednesday, he scored his first (and second) goal(s) for Ajax against Telstar in the KNVB Cup.

While that first goal was a good finish, his second goal of the night was more impressive. It also ended up being the match-winner after Telstar pulled two goals back.

It's been a blast watching a 19-year-old American international burst onto the stage at Ajax. Let's hope, for his and the USMNT's sake, that he keeps improving.
