If you’ve ever dreamt of becoming the chef for your favorite club, the bad news — as revealed by Milan’s Michele Persechini — is that your day typically begins at 6 a.m. and lasts until 9:30 p.m. The good news, as evidenced by the fact that Persechini has been with the club since 1988, is that it’s one of the coolest, most rewarding jobs on the planet.
For over 20 years now Persechini has been in charge of keeping the Italian giants well-nourished, and over that period he’s celebrated eight Serie A titles and five UEFA Champions League victories with the likes of Arrigo Sacchi, Fabio Capello, Carlo Ancelotti, Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi, Andriy Shevchenko, Filippo Inzaghi and Kaká.
As you might expect, Persechini is loaded with stories, memories, inside knowledge and he makes some delicious looking Italian food.
