Soccer is known for its gamesmanship, but two Indonesian teams took that idea a bit too far, scoring five own goals in eight minutes in an attempt to avoid a tougher draw in a tournament they were playing in. The game finished 3-2, which means every single goal scored was an own-goal. In fairness, the team they were trying to avoid is reportedly backed by the Indonesian Mafia, but still. In terms of potentially detrimental things that soccer players do to get ahead, this is what diving wishes it could be when it grows up.
