USWNT's Alyssa Naeher wins 2024 W Gold Cup Golden Glove

There's no doubt about this one.

USWNT’s Alyssa Naeher collected the 2024 Concacaf Women’s Gold Cup Golden Glove following the U.S. women’s national team’s victory over Brazil in the final this Sunday.

Naeher was arguably the USA’s best player in the tournament, having outstanding performances in the knockout stage against Colombia in the quarterfinal and against Canada in the semifinal — making a historic three saves and scoring one in the penalty shoot-out that sent the USWNT into the final.

The American made a total of seven saves throughout the tournament, celebrating a century of international caps along the way and establishing herself as one of the USA’s all-time greats.

"To be sitting here now and having played 100 games is just something I didn't really think was possible," said Naeher before the final. "I just feel very blessed to have had the opportunity for the last 15 years to have played with so many incredible teammates and coaches that have helped me get here" she added.

Her clean sheet against Brazil in the final also sent the Conneticut-born into an elite group of national team stars, becoming the only USWNT goalkeeper in history to keep a clean sheet in five competitive finals. She’s won every single one of them.

What does she prefer, saving penalties or scoring them? None of it matter unless you win.
