Wedding bells in the USWNT! Midfielder Lindsey Horan announced she is engaged!
The Colorado native shared a series of pictures on social media where you can see her fiancé, Tyler Heaps, kneeling and popping the question in front of a breathtaking mountain backdrop.

Of course, several USWNT teammates — who she will be playing with at the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand — ran to the comments section to congratulate her.
"OMG, I'm dying!!!!!!!!!!" said Kristie Mewis, while Rose Lavelle and Mal Swanson opted for heart emojis.
However, the best reaction came thanks to Olympique Lyon teammate Vanessa Gilles: "You can't wear that ring to training though, it's a safety hazard," she joked.

Heaps was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and went to Augsburg University. He played soccer as a defender, according to the Auggies website where you can also find a good amount of data about him.
For example, he admires Clint Dempsey and likes yoga. He also enjoys watching "America's Got Talent" and listening to Drake. His favorite quote? "You were born an original, don't die a copy."
Heaps didn't pursue a professional career as a soccer player, but his major in Mathematics has kept him pretty close to the sport. In fact, he used to work for the U.S. Soccer Federation, and since 2021, he's been the Head of Sporting Technology & Insights at AS Monaco in Ligue 1.
