With "The Walking Dead" once again gracing our television screens, it felt appropriate to tie in some interesting comparisons to the weird world of football. Although the likes of Ronaldo and Messi don't exactly fight hordes of the undead on a daily basis, there are some players that you'd have to back when it comes to fighting off walkers in a post apocalyptic world.
Now, we aren't saying that any of these men even remotely come close to the likes of Rick Grimes or Daryl Dixon, but they'd certainly not be too concerned with getting blood on their hands.

You just know Benny Feilhaber would get the job done. Whatever the scenario, whether you're trapped in a room with walkers on the verge of breaking in or just looking for food, Feilhaber would be a man you'd want by your side. The 31-year-old may not be the leader, but he'd certainly come in handy.

When enduring a world as messed up as that in "The Walking Dead", you need a man with great intelligence on your side, and Andrea Pirlo would be that man. At the risk of him transforming into The Governor, Pirlo would be fantastic at building a community fit to fend off any dangers that may lie ahead.

Nobody is going to mess with Didier — dead or alive. The guy is an absolute man-mountain and there are endless possibilities for him in terms of surviving in the new world. He would show no remorse in doing what is necessary to keep living, and that's one of many reasons why you'd want him by your side.

Tim Howard could save the entirety of America. He's that good. The American hero would do everything in his power to keep the people he loves safe, and if you're lucky enough to be included in that category then the odds are you will live a long and healthy life. Hell, he even has beard growing capabilities that almost always lead to walker-killing success.
Kei Kamara

If you're on the hunt for an enforcer, look no further than this man. Kei Kamara would be an utter machine in the mold of a male Michonne. A sword-wielding assassin role would fit him perfectly, and there aren't too many outsiders that would dare come face to face with someone as ferocious as Kei.
There's probably a great deal of professional sportsmen that would have no problems with doing what is necessary to survive, but these five in particular would leave no stone unturned in their fight to live another day. Hopefully they wouldn't end up on the wrong end of Negan's precious Lucille like a few people we know.
