John Farnworth Can Tie His Shoe By Juggling A Soccer Ball

Football freestyler John Farnworth has quite the unique show. We’ve all seen street magic videos, and we’ve all seen freestyle soccer videos, but we’ve never seen the two combined. So you can imagine our reaction when we saw John Farnworth pull off some pretty amazing freestyle magic tricks at the expense of other people’s sanity; we looked an awful lot like the disbelieving people you are about to witness.

If I had to pick a favorite trick I would have to go with the opener, the around-the-world shoe tie. It’s just the perfect combination of soccer skill and magic, and downright fascinating.

“Yes, we see your laces are undone…and yes, as you go around…OH MY GOD THEY’RE TIED.”

I mean, what else is there to say really? Just look at this guy’s face.

Needless to say, all of Farhworth’s tricks are pretty impressive.

I have spent a good amount of time trying to figure out how he pulled them off, but to no avail. It’s incredibly hard to decipher magic tricks as it is, but with all those charming English accents exclaiming their disbelief, how am I supposed to concentrate?

“‘OW’D YEW DEW THAHT?”

There’s no hope for me.

Farnworth teamed up with Kieran Brown of the YouTube channel Footballskills98 in the making of this video (that’s Brown at the end there). If you want to catch more cool stuff you should definitely check out both channels: you can find Farnwoth’s here and Brown’s here.

You can learn more about John Farnworth by visiting his website here. He has quite the resume, having performed at FIFA World Cup Finals, the F1 Grand Prix, the Nou Camp, and Broadway. He even has an alter ego, Farnwoth the mascot, which I’m pretty sure could get you excited about almost anything.
