According to the Los Angeles Times, LA Galaxy have a new addition to their forward line.
Giovani dos Santos, a 26-year-old Mexican international, has reportedly signed with the club, which has been interested in him since 2011.
Dos Santos was signed away from Spanish club Villarreal for a reported $7 million, and is apparently seeking a salary of around $6 million per year for the four-and-a-half-year contract, roughly the same salary as teammate Steven Gerrard.
Dos Santos, who has played his entire professional career in Europe, is expected to make his MLS debut August 9 against Seattle Sounders after he's finished playing in the Gold Cup with Mexico.
