Soccer's Terrible Owners...Who Is The Most Controversial?

Most owners are controversial in their own right. Nobody likes to see their club taken over by people who probably just see it as another item for their financial portfolio.

But next time you start to complain, pause for a second, and be glad your club doesn't have these terrible owners.

Flying Karate Kick Suspends Match In Argentina

So, a match in an Argentinian tournament called the Copa Ciudad de Plata made it to the 93rd minute without incident. And then there was an incident. A flying karate kick incident.

The kicker is Alvaro Pereira, who has played a not-unimportant role for the Uruguayan National Team over the years and had an excellent 2014 World Cup. Here, though, he shows us that he's adept at kicking things other than soccer balls.

Andy Halliday Scored A Goal. What The Ref Did Next Shocked Everybody

I'm going to come right out and say it: Andy Halliday is a bad person.

The Rangers midfielder scored a goal in Rangers' 2-0 victory over Morton, and then did something so horrible the ref had no choice but to toss Halliday out of the game.

Player Charged With Attempted Manslaughter For Face Kick

In the past, we've covered violence in football. Take, for instance, this planned brawl between hooligans in Russia which takes place before every Spartak v. Dynamo match. Or this instance when Saliou Ciss transformed into the Incredible Hulk after being sent off.

This 9-Year-Old Plays Soccer Like We Play Video Games

Rayane Bounida is ridiculously good at soccer. It’s comical. He’s 9-years-old and makes you wonder if he is even aware of the level of embarrassment he puts defenders through on what seems to be a daily basis. Honestly if someone told me that this kid jumps out of bed in the moring and nutmegs his teddy bear I would believe them. He’s the most amazing youth soccer player I’ve ever seen.

Neymar Gets Embarrassed By A Professional Freestyler

There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing Neymar get embarrassed by someone, anyone. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s usually the one doing the embarrassing, and that he’s getting so good at it that it’s scary, and that makes it satisfying to see the tables turn. It reminds people that he’s not superhuman, just really-really-good-human. Neymar gets embarrassed by freestyler Sean Garnier in the vine below, and it’s petty, but no one ever said petty couldn’t be satisfying.

He Nutmegged A Defender Twice. What He Did Next, Everybody Saw Coming

The triple nutmeg is a rare but vicious beast. If you should encounter one in the wild, give it a safe distance and back away slowly, lest you get nutmegged yourself.

But seriously, Werder Bremen's Zlatko Junuzovic is handing out nutmegs like Santa handing out presents. He did Borussia Dortmund's Sokratis dirty three times in the same run, and left poor Sokratis, who Dortmund have probably cut, or even humanely put down, by now.

Viewer discretion is advised for this video. Do not watch it if you are squeamish or in any way bothered by nutmegs.

Player Breaks Girlfriend's Wrist With Warm-Up Shot…But She Doesn't Tell Him

Exeter City's David Wheeler owes his girlfriend some flowers and chocolates and other assorted gifts for what happened this weekend before, during and after Exeter's League Two match against Northampton Town.

Wheeler sent an errant warm-up shot into the stands, where it hit his girlfriend, Alice Woodyatt, breaking her wrist.

Here's the crazy part: she stayed to watch the whole match before going to the doctor.

Juventus Just Had The Creepiest Kit Launch You've Ever Seen

After coming off of a very successful season in Italy and in Europe, despite falling to Barcelona in the Champions League final, Juventus have announced their newest kits for 2015.

Nothing too drastic has been changed from their classic white and black stripes, but their announcement video leaves you thinking of everything except “I want to buy that kit.”

Clint Dempsey Got A Red Card In The Funniest Way Possible

Clint Dempsey made a bad night worse for the Seattle Sounders Tuesday. The Sounders finished their US Open Cup match against the Portland Timbers with seven players thanks to an injury after they had used up all their subs, and three red cards. The last, and funniest, of these was given to Dempsey, who, while protesting a red card to a different Sounders player, took the referee's notebook and ripped it up. Although the ref was totally justified in red-carding Dempsey (who now might face a suspension for the incident, which is stupid), points for originality here for Clint.
