38-Year-Old Didier Drogba Fires Sensational Hat-Trick For Montreal

The living legend that is Didier Drogba is approaching his 20th season of professional soccer, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down. The former Chelsea striker lifted the Montreal Impact into the MLS playoffs for the first time in their history last season, and he’s almost certain to have an even more influential campaign this time around following his resounding hat-trick against Philadelphia.

He Failed As A Manager, So This Legend Scored A Hat Trick And Got Fired The Next Day

I’ve got to imagine that being a retired legend is a frustrating thing. As soon as you leave the game people probably think you are washed up. Your legacy immediately starts to diminish. People forget just how great you were, and it has got to be incredibly tempting to come back to the game just to shut all those idiots up. That’s what I am imagining was going through Clarence Seedorf’s head when he lit up a charity match with a hat trick bad in 2014.

Messi Hat Trick Provides Comfortable Win for Barcelona

Every Barcelona goal is beautiful. The team effort and crisp passing allowed for the La Liga leading giants to easily defeat Rayo Vallecano. Of the 5 goals scored, Lionel Messi's hat trick proved to the highlight in a lop sided match. Rayo Vallecano finished the game with 9 men as Diego Llorente and Manuel Iturra were given straight red cards in the 42nd and 67th minute, respectively. Messi's hat trick in the run of play was a tribute to Barcelona's possession dominance and his intelligence to be in the right place at the right time.

Carli Lloyd's Hat-Trick

Was it the greatest performance by a soccer player in a final? Yes. Carli Lloyd's hat-trick in the 2015 Women's World Cup final only took 16 minutes, and was capped off with a 50 yard boot over the Japan keepers head, giving the USWNT a commanding lead not even half way through the first half. All three goals showed off Lloyd's skill set.

The first: Lloyd streaks into the box beating her defender to the ball and executes a difficult finish with the outside of her left foot.
