Celtic's "Big Game" Player Moussa Dembele Shines In Old Firm Derby

In the lead-up to Saturday’s Old Firm derby match between Celtic and Rangers at Ibrox in Glasgow, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers talked up his striker Moussa Dembele’s knack for scoring goals in “big games.”

And, once again, the young Frenchman signed by Rodgers over the summer from Fulham has lived up to the hype.

In three matches against Celtic’s (big and bitter) rivals, Dembele has scored five goals. He netted a hat trick in his first-ever Old Firm match in September, scoring with his left foot, his right foot and via a header.

Real Madrid’s Squad Can Actually Turn The Real World Into A Game Of FIFA

FIFA is supposed to take the reality of football, turn it up 10 notches and make it accessible for all. So, while you’re executing Roberto Carlos-esque free kicks with regularity, you know that, yes, the professionals might be able to pull this off, but not three times a match.

The FIFA Free Kick Skill Game requires you to expertly curl the ball around a wall of training dummies and into one of the four corners of the net. Again, it’s a skill that professional can pull off, but it’s not something you’d put money on them doing nine times out of ten.

Adam Lallana's Rise Is The Most Remarkable Story In The Premier League

Saying the words "Adam Lallana is the key to the Premier League's most high-powered offense" feels weird. It does not roll off the tongue. You think "did I just say that?" and, after a few moments, realize you did say that, and that you meant it, because it's true.

This is not a thing that seemed like it could ever be true as recently as this summer.

Here are a couple of tweets I have tweeted about Adam Lallana:

Watch Ray Hudson Lend His Magisterial Voice To FIFA 17’s Best Goals

The magisterial Ray Hudson has proven himself braver than a matador in a pink tutu by lending his voice to FIFA 17’s best goals of the year video. Listen to his celestial voice jackrabbit from one goal call to the next, cruising through these highlights like a finely tuned Ferrari.

They tell us all men are equal in God’s eyes, but Ray Hudson makes you seriously questions those words. This video is as electrifying as a toaster in a bathtub, AAAHHHHHHHHHHHARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!

America Equalize Through Bruno Valdez In Liga MX Final

Tigers opened the scoring but Bruno Valdez has equalized for America in the 68th minute of the Liga MX final. Andre-Pierre Gignac scored a brilliant goal at the stroke of halftime, but Valdez has gotten on the end of a America corner to draw level in the first leg at the Estadio Azteca.

Andre-Pierre Gignac Delivers KO To The Azteca

Andre-Pierre Gignac has given Tigres a 1-0 advantage over America in the first leg of the Liga MX final. Oribe Peralta sent a penalty over for America earlier in the first half, and Tigres now have complete control of the tie.

PSG's Thomas Meunier Scored A Goal More Velvety Than Chocolate Pudding

Thomas Meunier is a right back so this goal probably shouldn’t have been allowed to stand. It’s outrageous in the extreme.

This goal is so luscious that the 3 Musketeers candy bar company if filing a lawsuit for stealing their recipe. This goal is softer than goose down feathers and silkier than satin. Thomas Meunier pick up your phone, kittens are calling you, they want their velvety fluff back.

20 Years Ago Today, Eric Cantona Scored The Most Baller Goal Ever

For me, it was an old VHS tape called Ooh Aah Cantona - The Cantona Phenomenon that changed everything. Before the days of soccer on ESPN or NBCSN, well before the era of YouTube skill show compilations and with the lasting memories of the 2002 World Cup seared into my mind, I was introduced to Eric Cantona.

The number seven emblazoned on his red shirt, striding around the pitch with dad bod physique, his collar upturned and with all the beguiling qualities of an existential Frenchman on his third glass of absinthe, Cantona was a side of football I’d never seen before.
