Real Madrid hosted Tottenham at Santiago Bernabéu as both sides are struggling be group leaders in this season’s UCL.

The match was certainly one of the day’s highlights, with Real Madrid displaying a somewhat patched lineup due to the injuries of Mateo Kovacic, Dani Carvajal and Gareth Bale.

On the other hand, Spurs featured a full-power lineup starring major star Harry Kane. And Harry Kane is on fire. So much that it’s hardly news anymore. However, he has now proven he can score against arguably the best team in the world. 

Tottenham Hotspurs’ training facility in North London had to be evacuated Friday after a World War II-era bomb was discovered on the grounds. Authorities immediately responded and the Tottenham bomb scare was soon cleared when the metal object was found to be of no danger to Tottenham or the surrounding community.

Harry Kane is having himself a month. In fact, the entire 2017 year has been good to Tottenham’s No. 10. A Harry Kane hat trick on Tuesday against APOEL saw his tally rise to nine goals in five matches in September as Tottenham saw off their Cyprian hosts 3-0 in the Champions League group stage.

For better or worse, FIFA does not stipulate an exact size for a soccer pitch. There is, in fact, a massive range of acceptable soccer pitch dimensions, from 5,000 square yards (4,050 square meters) all the way up to 13,000 square yards (10,800 square meters). While the range is smaller for professional clubs, there is still a variance that can create quite a home-field advantage. 

Think of a meteor that unexpectedly appears in sight. It moves at remarkable speed through the atmosphere, in flames, dazzling the beholder. Harry Kane is  such a force of nature. Not only that, he is also a romantic.

After his stunning brace against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night, everybody is talking about (and wishing they could sign) Harry Kane.

In a Champions League group with Real Madrid and Tottenham, every point matters for Borussia Dortmund. Spurs torched BVB 3-1 on Wednesday in the UCL opener, Dortmund came away with an arguably more important victory: a gif win.
