It was a tense week in Minnesota. While the vast majority of our thoughts and actions were centered around peacefully protesting the death of George Floyd in police custody, it was impossible to shake the sense of apprehension that came with reports of arson, opportunistic looting, outside agitators (white supremacists? anarchists?) and suspicious unmarked vehicles tooling around town, all under the shadow of a global pandemic. 

Despite the fact that no soccer is being played right now, our annual pre-game playlist is now ready for when the sport returns. The Fall 2019 playlist served us well, but 2020 has already produced some quality songs.

Due to events, is your dialogue with work colleagues now limited to Google Hangouts and Zoom conferencing? Has quality time with friends and family been restricted to phone calls? Have you now realized, weeks later, that you just don’t have that much to say?

Take it from me — someone whose job is to convince you otherwise — there’s actually not that much worth communicating. There's no shame in that; most noise deprives us of our peace of mind and better feelings.  

With the number of coronavirus cases in Italy fast approaching 25,000 and a death toll of nearly 2,000, its 60 million inhabitants remain on house arrest for the time being. But how to pass the time?
