Jürgen Klopp joins Red Bull as new global soccer chief in first job since leaving Liverpool

BERLIN — German coach Jürgen Klopp has been appointed head of global soccer for Red Bull, owners of several clubs including RB Leipzig and New York Red Bulls, the company said on Wednesday, in his first job since leaving Liverpool earlier this year.

Klopp, who ended his successful nine-year stint with Liverpool at the end of last season, will be starting on January 1, 2025.

Ex-USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter returns to sidelines, joins Chicago Fire

The Chicago Fire announced the hiring of former U.S. men's national team head coach Gregg Berhalter as the club's new director of football and head coach on Tuesday.

Berhalter, 51, becomes the MLS club's 10th full-time manager and will oversee all of the Fire's sporting operations, reporting directly to owner and chairman Joe Mansueto.
