Zlatan Wants To Move To MLS

Hold on to your hats, America. In the coming years, it looks like MLS is set to get a lot more Swedish. And awesome.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic told reporters Thursday that he would like to go to MLS at some point. The 33-year-old striker has one more year on his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

He told Yahoo Sports:

"I would like to play in U.S., absolutely. I would like to play. Which team? Am I allowed to say that? No, I cannot say that."

Also:

"I think it would be an amazing experience. I see that soccer is growing a lot in U.S. I mean, I was here 10 years ago, soccer was not on the level that it is today, but it's growing. It's growing in the right direction and I want it to be on the level of Europe. It will come here."

MLS has added superstar players already, but, even at 33, Zlatan remains a world-class player, and would give MLS a huge boost in both talent level and reputation.
