The majority of us will never, ever see a professional sporting contract. We just don’t have the talent to earn one, the business or legal acumen to deal with one, or the relationship with a player necessary to catch a passing glimpse of one.
But thanks to a tweet from Fernando Cevallos, we all get a (dare we say once-in-a-lifetime?) chance to see a legitimate contract offer - this one given to Club America's Miguel Layun from Besiktas.

As some of you may already know, Granada FC has already secured Layun’s services. That means this contract offer was turned down by Layun.
Imagine that for a second, you are offered a salary of 850,000 Euro, 15,000 Euro for every game you play resulting in a win, 7,500 Euro for every tie, a $3,000 monthly housing allowance, and a car...and a guaranteed raise of 50,000 Euro every year. And you turn it down.
Ah, the life of a footballer.
