A Look Back At Gary Neville's Valencia Career

Gary Neville's illustrious term as manager of Valencia Football Club came to a close Wednesday, with the Englishman being kicked to the curb less than four months into his tenure.

It's true that Neville's Valencia experience was mostly bad for everyone involved, but there are two sides to every story, and there's a solver lining behind every cloud. With that in mind, we thought we'd compile some of the good moments from Gary Neville's ultimately doomed Valencia manager-ship, and share them with you here.

We'll start with this one. Who could forget this classic Valencia moment that was positive and surely brought about by Gary Neville's leadership!

Oops. We goofed. We have just been informed that the above is not actually a video of any sort of Valencia FC moment. It is actually an excerpt from an episode of the television show "The Keystone Cops," about a police force noted for its extreme incompetence. Our mistake.

Let's move on to our next classic Valencia moment, which was definitely a good experience for all involved, especially the players, who in this video clearly have a ton of admiration, affection and respect for their manager at the time, Gary Neville.

Oops again! We are truly sorry for this mistake that we have made, as the above is again not a video of Valencia, rather a video of beloved incompetent cartoon villain Wile E. Coyote being hit by a train while in a shed filled with explosives that was pulled onto the tracks by a tractor driven by Bugs Bunny. We would like to apologize for this unfortunate error. Moving on.

This, certainly and unequivocally, was the highlight of Gary Neville's Valencia experience. Surely we can all agree on that.

Sigh. We just don't have it today. As you may have noticed, this is the famous chase scene from "The Benny Hill Show," the theme song of which has been used to soundtrack many a hilarious bumbling chase scene. It is not a video of Valencia, nor is is a video of Gary Neville.

That's it. Much like Valencia on Gary Neville, we give up.
