Earlier this week at Barcelona practice, new signing Andre Gomes crashed his team-issued Audi SUV into the back of Luis Suarez's team-issued SUV. This doesn't strike a good way to endear yourself to your new teammates, but Europe is a weird place. Maybe Gomes was just looking for attention.
Pro tip: if you're going to rear-end one of your new teammates, don't pick the one famous for biting people. At least crash into the person ahead of you on the depth chart, Andre. Come on, these are easy rules to remember.
Gomes, 23, signed for Barcelona this summer from Valencia. The Portuguese international made his competitive debut for Barcelona in a 3-0 win against Sevilla in the Spanish Super Cup. A few days later he hit Luis Suarez's car with his car. It's been a wild ride so far for young Andre Gomes.
