Watch: Colorado's Juliauna Hayward makes two defenders tackle each other with wonderful skill

Lionel Messi isn’t the only player capable of making defenders tackle each other in their effort to take the ball away from you.

Juliauna Hayward wonderful skill drops two Arizona defenders

Getting past defenders with a smooth cut-back is something most people have done in their soccer-playing lives. It’s a fairly easy skill. Making defenders tackle each other, however, with a smooth cut-back… probably only Messi and Juliauna Hayward.

Colorado University women’s soccer faced off against Arizona last Thursday, Oct. 26, in one of the two last regular season matches in their season. It was a hard-fought game under the lights and rain that ultimately went the Buffalo’s way with a 2-0 win.

The rain also played its part when Colorado sophomore Hayward thought it was a good idea to completely embarrass two defenders with a skill worth a thousand replays. The smirk after the fact is the cherry on top.

Wet pitch, natural grass, stud cut-back and Drake’s “Virginia Beach” in the background — it doesn’t get any better than this.

The skill by Hayward reminded fans of the many times Messi had also used his skills to throw defenders into eachother.

If you got it, you got it.
