In Effort To Improve Swedish Football, Zlatan Replaced By Giant Excavator

Sorry Zlatan, you just aren’t strong enough.

After watching the Swedish women’s national team finish third at the Women’s World Cup, it appears the men’s national team is going to drastic measures to keep up with the women.

As highlighted by @medverk on Instagram, Sweden is turning to machinery to improve its soccer team, because Zlatan Ibrahimovic just can’t cut it compared to Kosovare Asllani.

With the strength of Zlatan and the touch of Henrik Larsson, the Swedes are sure to equal the women’s third-place finish at Qatar in three years, assuming this big fella gets his visa in order.

Still working out whether it should be called Excavardinho or Cristiano Excavardo, the machine’s keepy-uppy record is 10 in a row, which honestly is better than I could do.

We hope this video results in a cross-over game from FIFA and Farming Simulator series.

Amazingly, this rig does more than just play soccer — and no, we’re not talking about boring construction. It plays basketball, outdoes Zlatan in the Bottle Cap Challenge and stacks concrete blocks for no real reason.
