Bale's Epic Free Kick Saves Wales, Fans Invade

European national teams are currently participating in Euro 2016 qualifiers, which saw Gareth Bale’s tiny nation of Wales face off against Andorra this week.

For those that don’t know, Wales is a terrible team, but not as terrible as Andorra. Until today, Andorra hadn’t scored a goal in competition since September 7th, 2010 against Ireland. Wales found themselves down, so Bale took matters into his own hands and scored the next two for The Dragons - sending Welsh supporters into a frenzy. Bale's goal was on a second attempt due to an Andorran encroaching the ref's magic spray line.

Embarrassed by the fact they were on their way to beat one of the worst nation's in the world, Bale urged his side’s fans to calm down. I don't blame the Welsh fans. They don't have the chance to cheer too much and this was just legendary stuff from Bale. You take what you can get and none the less, it’s good stuff.
