The World Cup Never Looked So Good

For this year's World Cup, ESPN commissioned Brazilian artist Cristiano Siqueira to create posters for all 32 teams. And they are bad ass.
May 28, 2014

For World Cup 2014, ESPN engaged Brazilian artist and graphic designer Cristiano Siqueira to create a series of posters, one for each of the 32 nations playing in the tournament. For our money, Siqueira nailed it. We'd love to have every one of these hanging on the walls of The18 headquarters. The posters blur the line between graphic art and street art. While the team nicknames leave something to be desired (especially some of the repitition of common themes), we can't fault the artist for that. No word yet whether ESPN will make these available for purchase or download. All art below is copyright of Siqueira and ESPN. Enjoy!
